The Property
Cinque Terre & Portofino Lodge - Dependance Bracco, is located halfway between the Cinque Terre and Portofino, about 30 minutes by car or train from these places. It is set in a small village surrounded by greenery and the quiet of the Ligurian hills, offering a wonderful view over the Bay of Moneglia and the valley below. Only 10 minutes from the beaches of Moneglia (Blue Flag), Deiva Marina and Sestri Levante, it remains easily connected to larger towns while staying away from the chaos and confusion typical of the summer season. Located at altitude (430 m a.s.l.), even in summer it enjoys a cool, breezy microclimate, completely free from the beach heat. At the same time, the closeness of the sea and its beneficial influence makes the climate pleasantly mild and temperate even in autumn and winter, making the property attractive also in the months from October to March.
The 90 sqm apartment (independent entrance) can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people (two bedrooms, with the option of a crib). It comes with private parking (free) and, for relaxation and sunbathing, a large green area with barbecue. Inside you will find every comfort and safety equipment: from air conditioning to free WiFi; from the fitness area to the hot tub; from the washing machine to satellite TV....and everything else described in the “The Apartment” section!!
Cinque Terre & Portofino Lodge - Dependance Bracco is easily reached by car from the Sestri Levante motorway exits (10 km- for those coming from Milan, Paris, the French Riviera, Zurich) and Deiva Marina (9 km - from Rome, Munich, Brenner). For those who prefer travelling by train, the railway stations are in Moneglia and Sestri Levante, served by scheduled buses and taxis.
The nearest airport is in Genoa (68 km - Cristoforo Colombo ).

The place...
The hamlet of Bracco, where the Property is located, is part of the municipality of Moneglia (included among the "100 most beautiful villages in Italy") and stretches along the Aurelia road, already in Roman and Medieval times famous for being a crossroads for commercial trade: the ancient road was part of the Via Francigena and even today you can find the ruins of the "Ancient Hospitale" of Passo del Bracco (early Middle Ages). Nowadays, the village of Bracco is known for the pleasantness and quiet of the area, ideal for long stays in peace and relaxation: the A12 motorway, in fact, has diverted elsewhere almost all vehicle traffic, leaving room for motor-touring and for daring cyclists. Exactly halfway between the Cinque Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore) and Portofino, these places are easy to reach mainly thanks to an intense service of trains and boats. Immediately behind the hill lies the Val Petronio (ideal for trekking and hiking lovers) and the Val di Vara: known to lovers of rafting, good food and ... high-end shopping (Brugnato 5 Terre Outlet Village)! For those who love the sea and scuba diving, throughout the Gulf of Tigullio (Moneglia, Sestri Levante, etc.) and in Deiva Marina there are diving center and boat rental activities.
Last but not least, the many local food festivals in the area and nearby, concentrated mainly in the summer and easily reachable. They are a mix of tradition, folklore, typical Ligurian cuisine and ...... low prices!!
Also throughout the summer (and for those who do not wish to move their car) an interesting bus service is provided, including evening runs, linking the area with the other towns.
